Thanks for all the support! As a small local Canadian owned business, profits are now non-existent, but we aim to keep serving food to those in need as an essential service during these difficult times
*How have we adjusted during these times?*
We are doing everything we can, and we go above and beyond with responsible and safe food handling, cooking and delivery/takeout procedures. *We try to go above and beyond what is recommended*: We check all staff daily (including temperatures), and do not allow anyone feeling sick to come to work or enter the store. (None of our staff have traveled outside Canada in the past 3 months). We encourage all staff to wear gloves and protective gear. Hand washing is done multiple times after every interaction to the point our hands are all hurting :) Regular wipe downs and disinfecting of ALL surfaces & extra careful handling of food while cooking and while packing. Distancing and limited interaction with customers & No interactions with Uber food drivers (we take it to their car outside of the store).
*For Pickup Customers:* The Safest Method is to place an order online at www.axiarestaurant.com or over the phone (905) 608-2942 and we can give you an EXACT time to come so that you are not waiting. We prefer you wait in your car for safety reasons and we can even bring the food to your car if you prefer.
*For Delivery Orders:* We also deliver to L5L, L5M & L5N. Drivers no longer are allowed to come into buildings or houses so please meet us at the front. We can call before we arrive. Let us know if there are any specific needs or requests. We can also enter any information if preferred so that you only have to tap the wireless ATM machine. We try our best to improve on the fly creating new rules to make things as safe as possible. Stay posted here for updates and we wish everyone safety and good health in these challenging times.
